About Us
Black Country Jaguars was formed in 1985 when the owner Graham Taylor of a general vehicle dismantlers decided to devote the entire business to Jaguar only.
The company grew and moved premised in 1990 to Dudley in the West Midlands. This facility had the scope to accommodate several hundred Jaguars and within a short few years did in fact stock over 500 Jaguars for dismantling ranging from the 1950s to present day models and specialising in MK2 Jaguars.
The need to supply new parts alongside second hand soon became apparent and a new parts division was formed specifically in the remanufacture of obsolete parts and sourcing original old stock parts from all over the world and supplying both trade and retail alike.
Sourcing these parts took us in many different directions not least Jaguar cars and Unipart themselves of which we bought many different consignments. One of the biggest being their complete stock of XJ40, series 3 and XJS soft trim products in seating assemblies (nearly 8 million pounds worth) so much stuff it had to be housed in 22 40ft shipping containers.
In 2005 we began the task of our present location a job that took over one year to complete.
